Silo Level Indicator is used to monitor material level in cement silos, fly ash silos, lime silos and dry bulk storage systems. eQUIP supplies silo level indicators and silo level sensor solutions for concrete batching plants, cement terminals, powder handling lines and industrial storage systems where reliable level detection is required during filling, storage and discharge.
Final configuration and suitability require a technical review of your material and operating conditions.
A silo level indicator helps detect the presence or absence of material inside the silo and can provide high-level or low-level signals depending on the application. During silo filling, level detection helps reduce the risk of overfilling. During discharge, it helps operators and automation systems monitor whether material is available in the silo.
Depending on the project, the level indicator can be selected as a rotary paddle level indicator, vibrating level switch, capacitive level sensor or another suitable level monitoring device. The correct type depends on the material, silo geometry, bulk density, flow behavior, dust level, mounting position and control system requirements.
A silo level indicator provides level detection for dry bulk materials stored inside a silo. It can be installed at different points on the silo body to detect high level, low level or intermediate material level positions.
In cement and powder storage applications, silo level indicators are commonly connected to a control panel, PLC system or alarm system. The signal can be used to support filling control, discharge monitoring, material availability checks and safer silo operation.

My orders and documentsHow to select
The selection of a silo level indicator depends on the material type, bulk density, particle size, dust concentration, moisture level, silo shape, installation position and required signal type. eQUIP can supply suitable level indicator configurations for cement silos, fly ash silos, lime silos and other dry bulk material storage systems.
For powder materials such as cement, fly ash and lime, the device should be selected according to dust conditions and material flow behavior. For granular or coarse materials, different sensing principles may be considered. The level indicator can be integrated with silo top filters, pressure relief valves, filling systems, discharge equipment and control panels as part of a complete silo equipment package.

Questions buyers ask
A silo level indicator is a device used to detect or indicate material level inside a silo. It helps monitor whether cement, fly ash, lime, powders or granules are present at a selected level point.
A silo level sensor detects material presence or level and sends a signal to a control system. A silo level indicator is the equipment or system used to indicate this level information. In many silo applications, the terms are used closely together.
A silo level indicator can be installed on the silo body, cone section or upper level area depending on whether high-level, low-level or intermediate level detection is required.
During pneumatic filling, material level increases inside the silo. A high-level indicator helps warn the system or operator when the silo reaches a defined level, reducing the risk of overfilling.
Yes. Silo level indicators can provide signals to PLC systems, control panels or alarm systems depending on the selected sensor type and electrical configuration.
Silo level indicators can be used for cement, fly ash, lime, mineral powders, plastic granules and similar dry bulk materials. The sensor or switch type should be selected according to material properties.
The price depends on device type, material compatibility, mounting configuration, electrical output, enclosure protection, signal requirements and project-specific silo conditions.
