Silo Filter Cartridge is a replaceable filter element used inside silo top filters and dust collectors to separate dust from conveying air during silo filling. eQUIP supplies silo filter cartridges for cement silos, fly ash silos, lime silos and dry bulk powder storage systems used in concrete batching plants, cement terminals, dry mortar plants and industrial powder handling facilities.
Final configuration and suitability require a technical review of your material and operating conditions.
A silo filter cartridge helps the silo top filter capture airborne dust generated during pneumatic filling. When cement, fly ash, lime or similar dry powder is blown into the silo, conveying air must be vented while dust particles are retained inside the filter system. The cartridge filter media provides the surface area required for dust separation and helps support cleaner silo operation.
Silo filter cartridges can be selected according to filter model, cartridge dimensions, filter media, dust load, material type, airflow requirement and operating conditions. Correct cartridge selection and regular replacement are important for stable filtration performance, reduced dust emissions and reliable operation of the silo top filter.
A silo filter cartridge filters dust-laden air inside a silo top filter or dust collector. During pneumatic silo filling, air enters the silo together with the material. The filter cartridge allows air to pass through the filter media while retaining fine dust particles.
In cement and dry bulk powder applications, filter cartridges help maintain cleaner working conditions around the silo, reduce dust release during filling and support the performance of the silo ventilation system. They are consumable replacement parts and should be inspected or replaced according to operating conditions.

My orders and documentsHow to select
The selection of a silo filter cartridge depends on the silo top filter design, cartridge diameter, cartridge length, connection type, filter media, dust characteristics, airflow requirement and operating environment. eQUIP can supply suitable filter cartridge configurations according to the filter housing and application requirements.
For cement, fly ash and lime applications, filter media should be selected according to dust fineness, moisture conditions, cleaning method and expected dust load. In pulse jet silo top filters, the cartridge must also be compatible with the filter cleaning system to maintain airflow and filtration efficiency.

Questions buyers ask
A silo filter cartridge is a replaceable filter element used inside a silo top filter or dust collector. It filters dust-laden air during silo filling and helps retain dust particles inside the filter system.
No. A silo top filter is the complete filter unit installed on top of the silo. A silo filter cartridge is the replaceable filter element inside that unit.
Silo filter cartridges are used inside silo top filters, dust collectors and ventilation systems for cement silos, fly ash silos, lime silos and dry bulk powder storage systems.
Filter cartridges collect dust over time. If they become clogged, damaged or worn, airflow can decrease and dust emissions may increase. Regular inspection and replacement help maintain filter performance.
Silo filter cartridges are commonly used for cement, fly ash, lime, mineral powders and similar dry bulk materials. The filter media should be selected according to the dust type and operating conditions.
Yes. Silo filter cartridges can be configured for pulse jet silo top filters, provided the cartridge dimensions, filter media and cleaning compatibility match the filter housing.
The price depends on cartridge size, filter media, construction type, connection detail, dust load, airflow requirement, filter housing compatibility and project-specific requirements.
