Four decisions before requesting a quotation
Material and discharge
Specify the powder or granules, bulk density, moisture and flow behaviour. These affect usable capacity and the discharge arrangement.
Storage capacity
Share the required tonnes or cubic metres, daily consumption and delivery batch size. Tonnes depend on bulk density; the same silo volume does not hold the same mass of every material.
Delivery and site access
Provide the destination, access restrictions and available installation space. Compare assembled-body transport with shipment in sections.
Scope of supply
Identify filling and discharge connections, monitoring needs and downstream equipment. Confirm assembly responsibilities and site preparation in the quotation.
Two construction options
Welded silo
For requirements up to 100 tonnes, a welded silo is an option to assess with eQUIP. Confirm the material density, usable volume and transport dimensions for the specific project.
The welded body is transported as a large assembly. Check route clearance, unloading and lifting arrangements before ordering.

Bolted silo
For larger storage requirements and projects where transport volume matters, consider a bolted silo. Capacity and dimensions are determined for the project; no universal upper capacity is assumed.
Panels and components travel in sections for assembly at the site. Confirm the assembly method, lifting needs, foundation design and responsibilities before delivery.

Select the equipment around the silo
A silo quotation may also include a vent filter, pressure relief valve, level indicator, flow aids, outlet valve and screw conveyor. These are selectable items, not a promise that every item is included. Selection depends on the material and process.

Before you decide
Does 100 tonnes describe every material?
No. State the material and its bulk density. The final quotation should identify usable volume and the basis of the mass capacity.
Is a bolted silo always the better export option?
Not necessarily. Compare dimensions, route, packing and site assembly for the actual destination.
Is installation included?
The scope and responsibilities must be agreed in the quotation. This page does not promise installation or foundation works.
Tell us about your silo project
Send the material, required capacity, destination and preferred filling/discharge arrangement. If available, include a layout or site drawing.
