Butterfly Valve
Butterfly valves are essential components used to regulate the flow of powder and granular materials in cement silos, screw conveyors, and weighing bunkers. At eQUIP, we offer robust, industrial-grade butterfly valves designed for dust-tight sealing, quick shut-off, and long service life.
Our butterfly valves are available in sizes ranging from Ø150 mm to Ø300 mm, and come in both single-flange and double-flange versions. The single-flange type is commonly mounted under weighing bunkers with a flexible connector or discharge sock, while the double-flange type is installed between silo outlets and cement screw inlets. Each model includes EPDM or NBR sealing rings, ensuring compatibility with abrasive and dry bulk materials such as cement, lime, and fly ash.
The valve disc is made of aluminum or stainless steel and rotates 90 degrees to open or close the flow path. This design allows for fast response in automated batching systems. All models are compatible with pneumatic actuators for remote operation, and optionally with manual levers or electrical actuators depending on application needs.
These valves are widely used in concrete batching plants, dry mortar silos, and bulk material transfer systems where precise flow regulation is critical. Maintenance is minimal thanks to the simple structure and replaceable seals.
If you're looking for a reliable solution to control the discharge of powder materials in industrial environments, our butterfly valve series ensures safety, speed, and durability.
